Roane State Community College will host a community job fair on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at its Oak Ridge Branch Campus. College students, recent graduates, and local job seekers are invited to attend.
The job fair is scheduled to run from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. ET inside the Coffey-McNally Building atrium. The event is free. Attendees should follow signage on campus when they arrive.
Nearly 40 area businesses from a variety of fields and industries will be represented at the fair. Participants include the University of Tennessee, Covenant Health, Family Brands, Summit Media, Delconca USA, Tennessee Cancer Specialists, Stowers CAT, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), and many more.
“Even if you are still undecided about your career path, attending a job fair is a wonderful way to get more information that can help guide you,” said Sonya Parker, Roane State’s workforce training and placement manager. “We have such a wide range of jobs represented at this upcoming fair, there is truly something for everyone. We encourage anyone looking for a job to join us on Tuesday.”
